This live sound monitor is located at the Heugh Battery Museum on the Headland in Hartlepool. The Heugh Battery was a key part of Britains coastal defences during the First World War. The guns there exchnaged fire with German warships in 1914 during the bombardment of Hartlepool making the Heugh Battery the only WWI battlefield site in Britain.
